Small block Ford.
This kit makes it easy to throw a small block Ford into a 1949, 1950 or 1951 Ford or Mercury. This kit will also work well on 1952, 1953, 1954, 1955, 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959, 1960, 1961 and 1962 Fords and or Mercurys when your looking to put in a small block. This auction is for one cradle (cross member), two end caps, with two motor mounts. This kit can be bolted or welded to chassis. Each end plate has 4 pre drilled 3/8" holes. Each end plate measures 4" by 2-1/2". The tube has a 2" outside diameter and 1/4" wall thickness. This fits the Ford 260, 289, 302, 351 W and Pre 1973 351C. Fits frame rails from 24" to 37" wide.
Center to center between perches is 17-1/4".
Small block Chevrolet.
This kit makes it easy to throw a small block Chevy into a 1949, 1950 or 1951 Ford, Mercury or Chevrolet. This kit will also work well on 1952, 1953 or 1954 Fords, Mercurys and Chevys when your looking to put in a small block. This is for one cradle (cross member), two end caps, and two motor mounts. This kit can be bolted or welded to chassis. Each end plate has 4 pre drilled 3/8" holes. Each end plate measures 4" by 2-1/2". The tube has a 2" outside diameter and 1/4" wall thickness. The mounts are not steel they are rubber. For those of you who are to young to remember these mounts are very similar in appearance and function to 1958-1967 motor mounts. These will fit almost all later small and big block Chevrolet motors.
This fits the Chevrolet 283, 302, 307, 327, 350 and 400 ci small block. It also fits the big block Chevrolet 396, 402, 427, 454 and 502 ci. Fits frame rails from 24" to 37" wide. The distance between the mounting perches is 16-1/8" center to center.
