The bottom of the bell measures 7-1/2″.   The bell is 3-1/4″ high.  The whole assembly from the tip top of the nut to the bottom of the flange is 4-3/4″.   Fits Holley, Rochester & Carter 4V carburetors with 5-1/8″ opening.   This will work with single or dual quad systems.  On some dual quad systems the carburetors mount a little closer and the air filters will touch, you might need to tweek the flanges so they won’t touch.

The bottom of the bell measures 4¾” which is ¼” more than the originals.  The bell is 2 5/8″ high.  The whole assembly from the tip top of the nut to the bottom of the flange is 4¼”.  Fits Stromberg, Holley, Chandler groove, & early Rochester carburetors with 2¾” opening and most Ford 94 model carburetors.

New Batwing Styled Air Cleaner Assembly.

Quality made in the good old USA.   1951 - 1956 Oldsmobile Cadillac.  This brand new all steel bat wing air cleaner is based on the style of the 1951-56 Oldsmobile and Cadillac air cleaners.  Will fit most carburetors and throttle bodies with 5-1/8″ openings.  This air filter assembly is not designed to be an exact replacement for an original GM, Cadillac or Olds part.  This will require an adapter if you are using an original 50’s Rochester or Carter carburetor that is not 5-1/8″.  We have adapters for carburetor necks with a diameter of 2-5/8“, 3” or 4-7/32″.   Measuring a whopping 18-1/4″ wide, this air cleaner is no wimpy, scaled-down version of this classic design.  This new air cleaner has the same external dimensions as the original Oldsmobile oil-bath part, however, this version uses an off-the-shelf 14 inch diameter by 4 inch tall paper filter element.   No fiberglass construction here, steel is real.  This air cleaner is top stamped from heavy gauge steel, fully spot welded together and then powder coated in a tough semi-gloss finish.  The electroplated air cleaner base is also stamped steel and is designed to fit most carburetors and throttle bodies. <BR>The air cleaner is notched at the rear to provide clearance for the large diameter, GM, HEI distributors.  This comes with a unique wing nut to complement the air cleaner.  This chrome plated, rocket shaped nut was modeled after 50s era space vehicles and measures nearly 1- 1/8 inches tall.  This is a ready-to-install kit.  For about half the cost of an original, dented and rusted “swap meet find,” hot rodders can enjoy the good looks of the Cadillac air cleaner.   Avoid the hassle of restoration and the difficult conversion from oil bath to paper filter element with this Retro Styled Air Cleaner Assembly.   1951-1956 Oldsmobile / Cadillac style air cleaner designed to fit most carburetors and throttle bodies with 5-1/8″ openings, semi-gloss powder coat finish.
